The Jakarta Globe

I worked at this English language newspaper since it’s beginning in 2008. As a layout designer, I was tasked with the daily production of the Life & Times section working in a team. We used a system from Woodwing to streamline the workflow with InDesign and InCopy plugins. It was also at the Globe where I was exposed to aspects of copywriting, journalism, and media production as a whole. It was sad to leave such good company, but in 2011 I resigned to pursue my studies. They are still producing excellent stories today.

Lionmag

A magazine I worked with during the year 2007. They needed a graphic designer to design the whole magazine, promotional items and even a simple website using iWeb. I did them all during my short stay there. After just three months, I had to leave Lionmag but they are still in production today. Make sure you read them next time you fly with LionAir!

Gorgeous!

Gorgeous! was a free magazine with the concept of Jakarta’s Beauty Guide. I took part in this project since its inception and was responsible for the whole magazine layout and also visual branding of Gorgeous! Big names behind the magazine include photographer Jerry Aurum, who I had the pleasure of working with. Unfortunately, production stopped just after three month and the project was scrapped shortly after.
